After nearly two years on dating apps, Manuel realized the problem wasn't finding people—it was finding meaningful opportunities to meet them. Like many others, he experienced endless swiping, disappearing matches, and platforms that seemed designed to keep people engaged rather than help them build real connections.
Instead of accepting that as the norm, he decided to build something different.
Curated Lovers is built around a simple idea: people deserve intentional introductions, not endless choices. Every member goes through interviews and background checks, allowing the team to understand who they are beyond a profile or a few photos. Matches are curated by people, not algorithms, with the goal of creating genuine, in-person experiences.
Manuel believes chemistry can't be predicted, but it can be discovered. Whether members leave with lifelong friends, a stronger social circle, or the love of their life, the mission is the same: help people spend less time swiping and more time meeting.
