You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering, you represent that you are 18 or older and that all information you provide during intake, interviews, and account setup is truthful, current, and complete.

We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership for anyone who does not meet our eligibility criteria or who provides false or misleading information, at our sole discretion.

Curated Lovers is a matchmaking service, not a dating app. Introductions — whether a blind date or an invitation to a curated event — are made by human matchmakers based on your intake, interview, and stated preferences.

We do not guarantee that any introduction, date, or event will result in a successful match, relationship, friendship, or any particular outcome. Matchmaking involves human judgment, and outcomes depend on factors outside our control, including the choices and conduct of other members.

Accounts are accessed via a passwordless "magic link" sent to the email address you register with, or via supported third-party sign-in (e.g., Google). You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account and any device used to access the Service, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at hello@curatedlovers.com if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Membership requires completing an intake, at least one live interview with a matchmaker, and an identity and background check. You consent to this verification process as a condition of using the Service and authorize us to work with third-party providers to conduct it.

Background checks are performed on a best-efforts basis using information reasonably available to us or our vendors. We do not guarantee that any check is complete, accurate, or exhaustive, and we do not guarantee the identity, intentions, or conduct of any other member.

We may decline to admit, match, or continue serving any individual based on the results of an interview or background check, at our sole discretion and without obligation to explain the decision.

Blind dates and events involve meeting people you do not know in person. You are solely responsible for your own safety, judgment, and conduct before, during, and after any date or event. We recommend meeting in the public venue we arrange, telling a friend or family member your plans, and arranging your own transportation.

Curated Lovers does not employ, supervise, or control other members, and is not a party to any relationship, agreement, or interaction that develops between members. We are not responsible for the actions, statements, or omissions of any member or event attendee, on or off the platform.

Blind dates and events may be booked individually, and ongoing matchmaking may be offered through membership tiers. Applicable pricing is disclosed before you are charged, during intake or at checkout.

Fees are charged using the payment method you provide. Except where required by law or expressly stated otherwise at the time of purchase, fees are non-refundable once a date has been arranged, an event seat has been reserved, or a membership period has begun.

You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed date or event booking up to 48 hours in advance from your dashboard at no charge. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled time, or repeated no-shows, may result in a forfeited fee and may affect your ability to book future dates or events.

We may cancel or reschedule a date or event at any time, including for safety, availability, or operational reasons, and will make reasonable efforts to notify you in advance.

You agree to treat matchmakers, staff, and other members with respect. Harassment, discrimination, deception about your identity or intentions, solicitation, commercial activity unrelated to the Service, or any unsafe or abusive conduct is prohibited and is grounds for immediate suspension or termination without refund.

You agree to report any conduct that concerns you to your matchmaker or to hello@curatedlovers.com.

Meeting new people in person carries inherent risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk arising from your use of the Service, including risk arising from interactions with other members at dates and events, and you release Curated Lovers, its founders, employees, matchmakers, and partners from any claim, liability, or damages arising from such interactions.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any member has been fully vetted beyond the checks described in Section 4.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Curated Lovers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may close your account at any time from your settings page or by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for violation of these Terms, safety concerns, or at our discretion. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 9, 10, and 11) will survive.

Our collection and use of your personal information, including intake, interview, and background check data, is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

The Service, including its name, branding, content, and design, is owned by Curated Lovers or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or use it outside the Service without our written permission.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service before the changes take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of [Jurisdiction], unless applicable local consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
